data we collect

1. email address (via Apple Sign-In)
2. recordings you upload (screen, camera, audio)
3. recording metadata (title, description, settings)
4. viewer analytics (views, watch time, basic playback events)
5. app usage (which features you use, crash and performance reports), not linked to your account. Settings › General › Share Usage Data turns it off.

where data is stored

capncap uses Cloudflare infrastructure. video files stored in Cloudflare R2, database on PlanetScale PostgreSQL in EU (Dublin). data processed in the EU.

your content

you own all content. recordings are link-only by default. you control visibility: private, link-only, or public. we need permission to store and deliver your recordings but won't use your private content for any other purpose.

data deletion

you can delete recordings or your entire account from settings. deleted content is permanently removed within 30 days. contact capncap@tinysend.co for help.

security

report security vulnerabilities to capncap@tinysend.co. we will disclose any breaches that occur.

changes

we may update this policy. major changes will be announced via email to active users.
